Grateful to Mika for presenting the crystal glass shard polka dot shawl collar vest, graffiti shirt, crystal glass shard straight-leg pants and crystal glass shard beret from Maggie Wang’s exclusive custom collection at his MEET MIKA LOVE CEREMONY online birthday party.
The vest is handcrafted with a mosaic reconstruction of real glass shards — the upper body is finished by fixing approximately 1,500–2,000 individual glass shards, each measuring 5–12 millimeters, one by one. The deep U-neck and front center opening were adjusted through multiple trial layouts, while the waist and abdomen area features a denser arrangement of shards combined with an inner structure to distribute weight evenly. The surface undulation of the finished garment is controlled within 3–6 millimeters, allowing light to flow naturally with movement and presenting a high-end handcrafted texture that balances strength and exquisiteness.
