Maggie Wang | Special Custom for Wang Sulong

Grateful to Wang Sulong for presenting the handcrafted wooden scroll flower-embellished suit, paired with a positioned lace cape, a bias-cut lace placket shirt with shell pearl buttons, a white spray-painted wooden carved arrow and solid wood bracelet from Maggie Wang’s exclusive custom collection at the Shenzhen stop of his 2025 100,000 Volts 2.0 tour concert.
This look was co-created in depth by the Maggie Wang team and the artist’s stylist, conceived against the backdrop of Wang Sulong’s 100,000 Volts 2.0 Shenzhen show. The design aligns closely with his stage temperament and the concert’s thematic core, refined and polished through multiple rounds of deliberation. It seeks a resonant realm of vision and sound between structure and material, preserving his unique expressive style and emotional intensity.
The inspiration for the wooden scroll flower embellishments derives from the carved works of Japanese artist Shogo Watari — the designer thus realized that wood can also possess softness and delicacy, much like wind weaving through forests and water winding around mountains and stones, with nature itself flowing quietly. This “gentle firmness” becomes the emotional keynote of the entire look.
Beneath the cape, lace and bead embroidery subtly outline a castle. It symbolizes not only the “Roman City” in Wang Sulong’s stage concept, but also the spiritual projection of his emotional universe — he is the lord of this city, building dreams with music and responding to electricity, light, shadow and emotion with his body.
The spray-painted wooden carved arrow and solid wood bracelet carry restrained sharpness and gentle power.
They point to the distance, and also echo the gaze of thousands — it is the tacit faith between the lord and his people.
